Cypress oil is one of the oils most often used to support the circulatory system. Its fresh, herbaceous and slightly evergreen fragrance refreshes, restores and tones. Comforting during the cold and flu season, cypress oil also supports the digestive and respiratory systems, and is good for oily and/or troubled skin.
Cypress Oil great for the following uses including items such as skin care, hemorrhoids, varicose veins and excess perspiration or undesirable odor of the feet. Very well recommended for hemorrhoids using a wash or ointment using a 1 or 2% dilution is suggested. The same ointment can be used for varicose veins applied topically lightly to the area (no massage) with strokes toward the heart. For excess foot perspiration a foot bath again with a 1 or 2% dilution. Some mention Cypress benefiting the symptoms of asthma when diffused properly
Use topically, with a massaging action toward the center of the body. Apply under arms. Diffuse, or add to food or rice milk as a dietary supplement. Mix with Peppermint and Lavender oils and apply over the heart, back of neck, bottoms of feet, on heart reflex points and pulse points to support healthy heart function.
